    Function- Is meant to show the beauty of the human body
    Content- She is holding flowers
    Context-Painted by Titian
    Change- The girl is nude, which is very different from Christian art
    Interpretation- The dog may be meant to symbolize loyalty
    Artistic intent- The figures in the background balance out the area that the woman takes up.
    Audience response- The female nude becomes a "Genre" in the renaissance time period.

    Tradition: Venus was a symbol of beauty during the time and that is why she is usually depicted nude
    Interpretation: the child and maid represents motherhood
    Artistic Intent: Venus has a direct gaze to the viewer to draw more people in
    Audience Response: the painting was created to be seen by many people
