    Form: watercolor and gold
    Function: Given as gifts
Content: Jahangir hands a book to a religious scholar
    Context: Jahangir was the patron
Change: style of painting combines Indian with the Islamic Persian and European traditions
Interpretation: Very strong belief in religion, so they made the two holy men bigger than everybody else
Artistic Intent: Honors Jahangir's Muslim faith and attests to the status of the arts at his cultured and cosmopolitan court
Audience Response: Uses lots of symbolism so that all faiths at his court are represented.
