    Function-A site of pilgrimage.
    Content- A large mosque surrounds the Kaaba.
    Context- Located in Mecca, Saudi Arabia
    Tradition- Is a place that all people undertaking the Hajj, which has been occurring for a very long time.
    Interpretation- Muslims believe that it was originally built by Abraham and Ishmael.
    Artistic intent- The Kaaba was built to house a meteorite that is important to the Muslim faith.
    Audience response- is visited by over thousands of Muslims a year.
