    Function- Made for the altar of a Daoist temple.
    Content- Elephant head shaped handles.
    Context- Found in Hong Kong, China
    Tradition- Vases were modeled after bronzes of the same type.
    Interpretation- Seen as the most important use of blue and white porcelain in existence.
    Artistic intent- The vases were made shiny and glossy due to ground cobalt mixed with white clay, sealed with a clear glaze and fired.
    Audience Response- The vases were used for export.
