    Form: brick architecture
Function: to atone for the sin of usury
Content: Heavenly powers arranged in an organized chorus
    Context: Painted by Giotto
Change: 3D: the figures have weight to them, not floating like typical medieval art
Interpretation: called the Scrovegni Chapel after the name of the patron, Enrico Scrovegni
Artistic Intent: Enrico Scrovegni built it to try to get into heaven
Audience Response: People view this as the transition to the Renaissance period

    Form-Fresco
Function- Used as a place of Christian worship.
Content- The narrative scenes of the chapel display bible scenes of ill-gotten gains.
    Context- Located in Padua, Italy
Tradition- Like other Christian works, Christ is represented as a divine figure.
Interpretation- The cross at the center of the last judgement fresco divides the saved from the damned.
Artistic intent- Those guilty of sins such as usury are particularly noted.
Audience response- Was named the Scroegni chapel after the patron of the chapel.
