    Form- This building had a concrete core.
    Function- Was meant to house wild and dangerous events such as gladiator combat.
    Content- There are a total of 76 entrances and exits on the Facade of the building.
    Context- A great deal of the marble Facade was stripped away from the building during the middle ages.
    Audience response- many people came to watch the events that took place in the colosseum, it was a place for Roman entertainment.
    Change- The colosseum was the largest amphitheater to have been made at this time.

    Form:Two Greek theaters put together to create the oval shaped amphitheater.
    Function: provide entertainment for Romans
    Content:the facade has engaged columns
    Context:accomodated 50,000 spectators
    Tradition/change: first story Tuscan columns, second floor Ionic, third floor Corinthian
    Artistic Intent: Provide a place that was able to give entertainment to thousands of people

    content- statues within each of the outside arches
    context- funded by the flavian family
    change- romans learned to terraform for their comnstruction
    audience response- only roman citizens could sit in the closer seats
