    Form- Ink
    Function- Reflects aspects of Daoism, Buddhism, and Confucism.
    Content- different brushstrokes for different trees.
    Context- May be the artists only surviving work.
    Change- Different from Western landscapes in that there is no single defined light source.
    Interpretation- The oneness with nature is to represent Daoism philosophy.
    Artistic intent- Artist isolated himself from civilization to be closer with nature.
    Audience Response- Many people took refuge in nature to paint in order to get away from the political disagreements and violence.

    Tradition: Signature is hidden and isn't a prominent part of the work
    Interpretation:The order and hierarchy of nature represented morality and stability
    Artistic Intent: The silk surface lends itself to a soft mysterious effect
    Audience Response: Is one of the most beloved landscapes from Chinese tradition
