    Form- Made of bronze
    Function- Is used to make the viewer feel a sense of great emotion.
    Content- Smashed nose and drooping lip to show that he had been in a fight.
    Context- Found in a Roman bath house.
    Artistic intent- His head is turned to face an unseen opponent.
    Audience response- Fighters may of used this statue as a good luck charm, because the feet seem worn away.

  2. Form:Copper used to depict blood and highlights through the body
    Function: Represents a cultural shift of the Hellenistic period
    Content: older man, past his prime with a defeated look
    Context: Hellenistic bronze that survived is really rare.
    Artistic Intent: Was intended to convey humanity and informality
    Tradition/Change: Moving away from idealism, more towards realism with the rendering of an older person in defeat but at the same time having an idealized body.
